Re-permitting the performance of Umrah, entry to the Grand Mosque and visiting the honorable kindergarten in the Prophet's Mosque gradually over several stages
First stage:
Allowing citizens and residents to perform Umrah from inside the Kingdom, starting on Sunday 17 Safar 1442 AH corresponding to October 4, 2020 AD, at a rate of 30% (6 thousand Umrah pilgrims / day) of the capacity that takes into account the sanitary precautionary measures of the Grand Mosque.
The second stage:
Permission to perform Umrah, visit and prayers for citizens and residents from within the Kingdom, starting on Sunday 1 Rabi` al-Awwal 1442 AH, at a rate of 75% (15 thousand pilgrims / day, 40 thousand worshipers / day).
The third stage:
Permission to perform Umrah, visit and prayers for citizens and residents from inside and outside the Kingdom, starting from Sunday 15 Rabi Al-Awwal 1442 AH, until the official announcement of the end of the Corona pandemic or the disappearance of the danger, by 100% (20 thousand pilgrims / day, 60 thousand worshipers / day) .
The fourth stage:
Permitting the performance of Umrah, visiting and prayers for citizens and residents from inside and outside the Kingdom, at 100% of the natural capacity of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, when the competent authority decides that the risks of the pandemic will disappear.
The arrival of pilgrims and visitors from outside the Kingdom will be gradual, and from the countries in which the Ministry of Health decides that there are no health risks related to the Corona pandemic.
A responsible source at the Ministry of Interior calls on pilgrims, worshipers and visitors to adhere to preventive measures, to apply health instructions and requirements, to wear the muzzle and to maintain a safe distance, and not to touch.
