On the Day of Arafah, make this dua often: La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer. Ask Allah for forgiveness, mercy, Jannah, and freedom from the Fire.

What to do on the Day of Arafah:

Fast if you are not performing Hajj and are able to do so.

Begin the day with sincere intention and a heart focused on Allah.

Make lots of dua, especially asking for forgiveness, mercy, and guidance.

Spend time in dhikr and keep your tongue busy with remembrance
Recite the Qur’an and reflect on its meaning.

Say istighfar often and sincerely repent for past sins.
Send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ.

Ask Allah for Jannah and protection from the Fire.

Pray for your parents, family, friends, and the entire Ummah.
Give charity, even if it is small.

Avoid distractions and wasteful conversations.

Stay humble, grateful, and hopeful in Allah’s mercy.

Use the day for reflection and self-correction.

Increase your worship with salah and personal du’a.

End the day with gratitude and trust in Allah’s acceptance.

May Allah accept our fasting, duas, and repentance on this blessed day. Ameen.

Most pilgrims prepare their suitcase for Hajj…
But they don’t prepare for what Hajj actually feels like in 40° heat, long walks, and emotional moments.

Here are 10 comfort tips experienced pilgrims wish they knew earlier👇

1️⃣ Prepare your du’as before Arafah
You’ll be making du’a for hours. If you don’t prepare them earlier, your mind can go blank in the most powerful moment of Hajj.

2️⃣ Carry mini cooling towels
Soak them and place on your neck or face — instant relief in extreme heat.

3️⃣ Pack electrolytes
You’ll walk tens of thousands of steps. Water alone isn’t enough.

4️⃣ Sisters: speak to your GP about norethisterone
It may help delay your cycle so it doesn’t interfere with your Hajj rites. Still carry essentials as heat can affect timing.

5️⃣ Pack light for Mina
You’ll move between Mina, Arafah and Muzdalifah often. Less luggage = less stress.

6️⃣ Conserve your energy before Hajj begins
Too much extra tawaf early can lead to exhaustion before the main days even start.

7️⃣ Brothers: use petroleum jelly in ihram
Prevents painful thigh chafing during long walking days.

8️⃣ Use an electronic tasbeeh
Easy way to track tawaf & sa’i when tired and emotional.

9️⃣ Carry a reusable Zamzam bottle
Stay hydrated throughout your journey.

🔟 Use a small waist pouch + shoe bag
Hands-free movement makes every ritual easier.

And most importantly… 🤍
When you’re tired, overwhelmed, and moving between rituals in the heat — remember why you came.
Hajj is not meant to be easy. It is meant to transform you. 🕋✨
