Swami Vivekananda National & International Award Ceremony 2026, Mission Vishwa Guru Bharat Conference & J.K Gaurav Samman Successfully Held in Srinagar

The prestigious Swami Vivekananda National & International Award Ceremony 2026, along with the Mission Vishwa Guru Bharat Conference and J.K Gaurav Samman, was successfully organized at the iconic Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar, J&K on 29th March 2026.
The grand event was organized under the leadership of Dr. Rajib Pal, bringing together eminent personalities, intellectuals, social reformers, and distinguished guests from across India and abroad, with a shared vision of promoting World Peace and global harmony.
The ceremony was graced by several renowned dignitaries including Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Padma Shri Dr. Vikas Mahatme, Santsree Bhattacharya, Mr. Shiddhantha Maharjaan, Shri Anil Chauhan, Dr. Gyanendra Mohan Shrestha, Mr. Malik Aijaz, and Adv. Dr. Harendra Ray Yadav, among others. Their presence added immense value and prestige to the occasion.
The conference highlighted the vision of тАЬVishwa Guru BharatтАЭ, focusing on IndiaтАЩs cultural heritage, spiritual strength, and its growing role in promoting peace, unity, and leadership on the global stage. Speakers shared their insights on the importance of unity, ethical values, and collective responsibility towards building a peaceful world.
A special segment of the event featured the J.K Gaurav Samman and Swami Vivekananda Awards, where distinguished personalities were honored for their remarkable contributions. The awardees included:
Dr. Alpaben Samirbhai Patel, Mr. Deepen Chettri, Dr. Gyanendra Mohan Shrestha, Adv. Dr. Harendra Ray Yadav, Ms. Juni Prajapati, Ms. Karunawati Maharajan, Mr. Naveen Prakesh Paudel, Mr. Rahul Sharma, Acharya Dr. Raja Sastri, Dr. Ramesh Khayaju, Mrs. Sharda Pokhrel, Mr. Shesh Narayan Shukla, Shri Siddharth Maharjan, Dr. Valiba Vitthal Popde, Mr. Veer Bahadur Dhuriya, Mr. Gulzar Ahmad Sofi, Mohammad Altaf Mahatanji, Mr. Sunil Yadav, Dr. Chandra Narayan Bairagya, Dr. Mohd Ashaq Malik, Dr. Dipak Harke, Mr. Vishal Sunil Mandlik, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Dr. Lovely Sharma, and Safiya Mehraj.
During the ceremony, several other distinguished individuals from various fields were also honored for their outstanding contributions and achievements, reflecting the true spirit and ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
Celebrity singer and Brand Ambassador of World Book of Star Records, Santshree Bhattacharya, presented a melodious musical performance during the program. Along with this, students of Oxford High School, Bijbehara, Anantnag performed a dance drama based on the martyrs of Kashmir, which left the audience spellbound.
During the program, Dr. Valliba Vitthal Popde was honored with the D.Litt. (Doctor of Literature) degree by the International Peace Spiritual Cultural University. Dr. Sunil Yadav was conferred with a Doctorate degree, while Dr. V.V. Dhuriya was specially appointed and honored for his spiritual research.
Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board (Minister of State, J&K), was honored with the тАЬExcellence Award Roll of HonourтАЭ by the World Book of Star Records for her outstanding contributions.
Among other distinguished personalities, author Dr. Vishal Sunil Mandlik (Hon.) was also recognized, whose name has been recorded in the World Book of Star Records and Zenith Book of World Records for his work on Maratha culture and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
The program was beautifully and effectively hosted by renowned journalist Tassaduq Rashid.
In the end, Swami Vivekananda International Peace Spiritual and Cultural Center, Bharat-Nepal Maitri Forum, Zenith Book of World Records, and World Book of Star Records expressed their gratitude to everyone for the successful organization of the event.
Additionally, during the program, the Swami Vivekananda International Peace Spiritual and Cultural Center announced its support for a historic project in Jammu & Kashmir тАФ for the first time in IndiaтАЩs history, a project worth тВ╣120 crore will be undertaken for the construction of a Swami Vivekananda Statue, Spiritual Center, Hospital, and Educational Institutions. This ambitious project received widespread support from Jammu & Kashmir as well as across India.
The event concluded on a high note with a message of harmony, inspiration, and commitment towards building a better and peaceful global society.
