TIGER FAMILIES IN RANTHAMBORE
Tigress T-105 captured on camera trap with first litter of 3 cubs at Sultanpur area of Sawai Madhopur. In addition to this, T-84 tigress (Arrowhead) was also seen 3 cubs. Its an indication that jungle safaris in Ranthambore in coming season will give good jungle experience for tourists, especially wildlife photographers. As per forest officer, park have 74 tigers in which 20 are males, 30 are females and 24 are sub-adults.

There's some good news from the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan where trap cameras have captured images of a tigress known as T-105 with three cubs in the Sultanpur area under Sawaimadhopur district of the state.

Sighting of male tiger in lovely pose. We sometimes get the chance to see tiger in this pose, doing territory marking by scratching the tree, rubbing their body with tree-trunk to scent mark the territory. They do such activity at border of their territory. This is how they communicate through other tigers, interesting way to pass their messages to others.

Journey of a tigress from Panna tiger reserve to new destination.

This was a rare event. A tigress travelled 99 km from her original home site at Panna Tiger Reserve — the longest dispersal recorded of a female. After analysing space use by the tigress, researchers have identified locations for surveillance by the forest department.
