Missed your connecting flight because the first flight was delayed — who pays for the next flight?

The answer depends on how you booked your journey. 👇

✅ ONE PNR / PROTECTED CONNECTION
If both flights are on the same protected booking and the first flight is delayed, the airline will generally rebook you on the next available flight without charging for a new ticket, subject to the airline’s rules and the reason for disruption.

⚠️ SEPARATE TICKETS / SEPARATE PNRs
If you booked the flights separately, the second airline usually has no responsibility for the delay of your first flight.

Miss the second flight?

Travel agents — never quote a fare just because you can see it on the screen. ⚠️✈️

That ₹24,850 fare you’re seeing right now may become ₹28,400 — or disappear completely — within minutes.

Why?

Airfares are linked to live seat inventory and booking classes. Every flight has multiple fare buckets. Once the lower bucket sells out, the system automatically moves to the next available fare.

That means:

✅ Fare showing now does not mean it is guaranteed
✅ Availability can change before ticket issuance
✅ Even a few minutes’ delay can increase the fare
✅ A client checking the same flight later may see a completely different price
✅ The fare is only secure once the booking/ticketing conditions are met

So before giving a final quote to your client, always check:

• Current seat availability
• Fare class / booking class
• Fare rules
• Ticketing time limit
• Baggage & inclusions
• Whether the fare is still live before payment/ticketing

A simple line can save you from unnecessary arguments:

“Fare and availability are subject to change until ticket issuance.”

For travelers too — if you like a fare, don’t assume it will remain the same till evening. ✈️

Passport valid hai… but kya aap travel ke liye actually eligible ho? 🛂✈️

Kuch destinations entry ke time minimum passport validity require karti hain — often 6 months. Agar requirement meet nahi hui, airline check-in ya boarding par stop kar sakti hai. ⚠️

Important: 6-month rule har country ke liye same nahi hota.
Ticket book karne se pehle destination ki passport + visa requirements zaroor check karein.
