He retired from the Tea Plantations in Darjeeling and Dooars after spending thirty three years at a world renowned tea company Duncan Tea Ltd founded by a Scottish entrepreneur a century ago. He ha

His wife Kanwarani Sneh Jhala is the daughter of late Ranasaheb of the erstwhile state of Manaswal in Punjab. Gardening & landscaping is her passion, which was perfected while residing in the sprawling bungalows of the tea estate.
