Another memorable chapter has been added to the journey of Historical Journeys.

Our AGM 2026 in Jodhpur was more than an annual meetingโ€”it was an opportunity to come together, exchange ideas, strengthen relationships, appreciate our shared achievements, and look ahead with renewed enthusiasm.

As we reflect on this special gathering, our heartfelt gratitude goes to everyone who has been part of our journeyโ€”our principal agents, business associates, panel guides, hotel partners, transport partners, and every individual who continues to support and trust Historical Journeys. Every association, collaboration, and contribution has played an important role in shaping our journey.

A sincere thank you to Ajit Bhawan for graciously hosting the Historical Journeys team and making our stay truly comfortable and memorable.

We are equally grateful to Bal Samand Lake Palace for extending such wonderful hospitality during our AGM in the beautiful Blue City of Jodhpur. The Sky Deck Dinner was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our gatheringโ€”an evening filled with warmth, beautiful conversations, and wonderful memories. Our special appreciation goes to Col. Sahab for the exceptional planning and seamless management that made the evening so memorable for the entire team.

It was also a pleasure and privilege to spend time with our panel guides from Jodhpur. We are fortunate to have such knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated individuals representing Historical Journeys. Thank you for joining us and for participating in an engaging and constructive group discussion with our entire team. The exchange of experiences, ideas, and perspectives was truly valuable.

While going to office today morning, just got a chance to see Jogi - Ganesh Nath ji and we requested him to sing lord Shivaโ€™s Bhajan as we always ask him to do so and he made our morning.
Such a nice person. We all should take care of these special people as they are part of rajasthani culture.

The combination of his voice and Sarangi was amazing.

Sarangi - The sฤrangฤซ is a bowed, short-necked string instrument played in traditional music from India โ€“ Punjabi folk music, Rajasthani folk music, and Boro folk music (there known as the serja) โ€“ also in Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is said to most resemble the sound of the human voice through its ability to imitate vocal ornaments such as gamaks (shakes) and meends (sliding movements). The sarangi (Nepali) is a different instrument, traditional to Nepal.

After long awaited time of two year Gangaur Festival Procession will start again on 04th and 05th April 2022.

๐Ÿ Starting Point : Tripolia Gate (5.45 PM)

๐ŸEnding Point : Talkatora

โœจ Festival Highlights:

A traditional procession of Gangaur commences form the Zanani-Deodhi of the City Palace, passing through Tripolia Bazaar, Chhoti Chaupar, Gangauri Bazaar, Chaugan stadium and finally converges near the Talkatora. The procession is headed by a colorful pageantry of old palanquins, chariots, bullock carts and performing folk artists.
