*REASI POLICE NABS DRUG PEDDLER WITH HE**IN AT KATRA, FIR REGISTERED UNDER NDPS ACT*

*Reasi, 30.03.2026:* In a continued offensive against narcotics and to ensure a drug-free society, District Police Reasi achieved another success when a special naka was laid at Jiji Chowk, Katra.

During the naka checking, one person identified as Divyansh Sharma S/O Vipin Sharma R/O Tea Garden, Katra was intercepted for routine checking. Upon his personal search, the police team recovered 3 grams of he**in (Chitta-like substance) from his possession.

Taking swift action, FIR No. 86/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Katra and the accused has been taken into custody. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the source of the contraband and identify potential links in the supply chain.

The entire operation was carried out by 𝗦𝗛𝗢 𝗣/𝗦 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽. 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵 𝗥𝗮𝗼, 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗗𝗣𝗢 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗿. 𝗕𝗵𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗲𝘆, 𝗝𝗞𝗣𝗦 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗣 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗵. 𝗩𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗻, 𝗝𝗞𝗣𝗦.
