BEST OF LEH LADAKH (6 nights/ 7 days) :

Day 01: Arival & Local Sight Seeing in leh:
Welcome to Leh, the capital of Ladakh, experience the stunning views as you fly over the dramatic regions of the Himalayas, Zanskar and the Karakoram Ranges, you will be met and transferred to your hotel/ Guesthouse. Spend the rest of the day acclimatizing to the climate of Ladakh. Overnight stay at Leh. A relaxed day exploring Leh town, will include visits to Shanti Stupa and Leh Local market, Overnight at Leh.

Day 02: Leh to Nubra / Turtuk (135 Km / 5 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardong Pass (highest motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Deskit by afternoon. Rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and double hump Camel Safari in Sand Dunes (Own arrangement). Overnight in Nubra.

Day 03: Nubra Valley (Local Sightseeing) and back to Leh (170 Kms / 6 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive back to leh via Khardungla pass. Overnight in Leh.

Day 04: Leh (Local Sightseeing & nearest area's)
After breakfast you will proceed to visit the Hall of Fame - museum constructed by the Indian Army, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. Further we experience the Magnetic Hill which defies the Law of Gravity. Witness the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers from Nimoo. You can enjoy a nice river rafting experience here (at own cost/ we can arrange that also). Return back to Leh for dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 05: Leh to Pangong Lake (160 Km / 6 Hrs one way)
After an early breakfast, visit sightseeing places like Shey, Thiksey, Hemis Monasteries and Sindhu Ghat and then proceed to Pangong Lake (14,500ft), through Chang la Pass 17,350 ft., It is the third highest motorable road in the world (320 Kms.) round trip. Visit the Spots where the Famous Bollywood movie “3 Idiots” was Shot. More Recently “Jab Tak hai Jaan” was also shot. Overnite in Pangong in camp.

Day 06: Pangong Lake to Leh (160 Km / 6 Hrs one way)
After breakfast, travel back to Leh. En route take a short halt at Changla Pass to enjoy a cup of hot steaming tea. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 07: Depart Leh – Fly Out
Transfer to the airport to catch the flight. Make sure you reach the airport early to get the window seat to enjoy the landscape of Ladakh as you return.

Day 01 - Srinagar

Sonamarg is surrounded by colourful mountains and thick pine forest and is primarily famous for its natural beauty, alpine flowers, sycamore silver birch and pine trees. Day 4 - Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar
Today morning after early breakfast, we take you for a full day excursion to Gulmarg(60kms/2hrs drive).Gulmarg is mostly famous for its golf course with 18 holes and has got one of the best ski slopes in the world. In the evening come back to the houseboat and dinner & overnight stay in houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 5 - Srinagar - Pahalgam
Today after breakfast, check out from the houseboat in Srinagar and travel by surface to Pahalgam (90kms/3hrs), Pahalgam , Once a humble shepherd’s village, it is now Kashmir’s one of the premier summer resort, cool even during the height of summer. Pahalgam is not just a hill-station it is a recreation resort and also the starting point for the annual Amarnath Yatra held in summer. Upon arrival at Pahalgam, check in to the hotel. Day 6 - Pahalgam-srinagar

Day 2: Breakfast , Check-out of Hotel , Drive to Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie , Check-in to the Hotel at Barkot

Dehradun
Enjoy breakfast, check-out of the hotel and drive to Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie. En-route pay visit to the Kempty Falls and other attractions and drive straight to your hotel for night halt. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti from Barkot ,Trek to Yamunotri Red , Return to Barkot [36 KM drive & 6 KM trek (one side)]

Yamunotri
After breakfast, drive to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti from where the trek start to Yamunotri (6 KM). You can choose the options by walk or by horse or by Doli (at own cost). Arrival at Yamunotri, one can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot Kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad" from here. Visit Yamunotri Temple, Surya Kund and Divya Shila. After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's warm water and having "Darshan" of pious "Yamunaji", perform "Pooja" at Divya Shila. Later, drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay will be at Hotel.

Day 4: Check-out from Hotel & Drive to Uttarkashi Red line Check-in to the Hotel at Uttarkashi , Overnight Stay

Uttarkashi
After taking breakfast, check-out of the hotel and get driven to Uttarkashi. Uttarkashi is located at the bank of River Bhagirathi. On arrival, check in hotel. In the evening, visit Vishwanath Temple. Return to the hote for night stay.

Day 05: Uttarkashi to Gangotri & Gangotri to Uttarkashi (100kms/ 5 hrs each side) , Overnight Stay at Hotel (Uttarkashi)

Gangotri
Post breakfast, leave for Gangotri, en-route visiting picturesque Harsil village, River Bhagirathi and the most spectacular views of the Himalayas. Pay offerings at Gangotri temple (having Submerged Shivling) and Kedar Ganga Sangam. After Gangotri Darshan drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay will be at Uttarkashi hotel.

Day 06:Check-out of Uttarkashi Hotel & Drive to Guptakashi (210kms/8-9hr) , Check-in & Overnight Stay at Hotel

Guptakashi
Check-out of the Uttarkashi hotel and drive straight to Guptakashi. En-route you can see the stunning River Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini River comes from Kedarnath, (drive alongside the River to reach Guptakashi). On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Later, in the evening visit Ardh Narishwar Temple. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.

Day 7: Check-out from Guptakashi & Drive to Kedarnath (30 KM by road & 20 KM by trek)

Kedarnath
Check-out from the hotel of Guptakashi and drive to Sonparyag. From Sonparyag, the trek begin for Kedarnath (3584 mts) on foot or on by pony / Doli. Tour members are advised to carry personal medicines, heavy woolen, toiletries and clothes for an overnight halt at Kedarnath. Check-in to the hotel. Later, pay visit to the holy shrine of Kedarnath (Kedarnath Temple). The Kedarnath shrine is one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. It is a scenic spot located, against the backdrop of the beautiful Kedarnath range. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 08: Check-out from Kedarnath Hotel & Leave for Rudraprayag (19 KM Down Trek & 75 KM / 4 hour by Road)

Kedarnath
Early morning after Temple Darshan, check-out of the hotel and trek down to Sonparyag. Later, drive to Rudraprayag via Guptakashi. Check-in to hotel at Rudraprayag. Overnight halt. Rudraprayag is one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of Alaknanda River, the point of confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini.

Day 09: Check-out from Rudraprayag Hotel & Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath (165KM / 7 hour) ,Overnight Stay at Hotel

Joshimath
Check-out from Rudraprayag, drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Check-in to hotel. Later, proceed towards Badrinath Temple for Aarti. Return to the hotel for overnight stay. Badrinath is one of the 'Four Dhams' and the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country.
Tapt Kund: Natural thermal springs on the bank of the River Alaknanda, where it is a tradition to bathe before entering the Badrinath temple.
Narad Kund: A recess in the River, near Tapt Kund, forming a pool from where the Badrinath idol was recovered.
Brahama Kapal: A flat platform on the bank of River Alaknanda. Here, Hindus perform propitiating rites for their deceased ancestors.

Day 10: Badrinathji Darshan & Drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath (160 KM / 7 hr) ,Check-in to the Hotel for Overnight Stay

Rudraprayag
Early morning, have bath in the Taptkund to take Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Later, drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Joshimath is situated on the slopes above the confluence of the rivers Alaknanda and Dhauliganga. It is known that out of the four 'Maths' established by Adi Shankaracharya, Joshimath is the winter seat of Badrinath. The idol is brought down to Joshimath and installed in the temple for people to worship. Check-in to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Check-out of Rudraprayag hotel, Drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh ,Arrival & Hotel Check-in at Haridwar (165 KM / 8 hour)

Rudraprayag
After having breakfast, get driven to Haridwar while en-route visit of Rishikesh, the 'place of sages' and a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga. Rishikesh is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. Explore the famous Rishikesh temples and sightseeing like, Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, Bharat Mandir, Shivananda Ashram etc. On reaching Haridwar, check-in to the hotel and relax overnight after having dinner.

Day 12: Check-out of Haridwar hotel & Drive to Delhi (250 KM / 7-8 hour)

Haridwar
Post breakfast, check-out of the hotel and get driven back to Delhi. On Arrival at Delhi, get transfer to Railway Station or Airport. Your Chardham Yatra ends here.
