The twin villages of Ranipur and Jharial in Sambalpur are sure to resemble paradise, for any history buff. In certain Hindu scriptures, the place has been mentioned by the name of Soma Tirtha. One of the serene places in Western Odisha.

Some historians date the structures discovered here as far back as the 8th century AD. The Chausath Yogini shrine here consists of 64 idols of ‘yoginis’ and a Brahma temple. Other historical structures include the majestic Indranath Temple, Someshwar Mahadev Temple, etc. This site is one of rare and unique historical importance – be it the existence of such ancient structures or even the sheer number of structures found together.

Bhatli Dham

It is situated in Bargarh.
It is temple of Baba Shyam. The temple is considered only second to the one at Khatu in Rajasthan constructed way back in 1960 by a devotee Madho Prasadjee Agrawal.
Only 120 km from Jharsuguda.
Do visit once to get blessings of Shyam Baba.

Maa Ghanteshwari temple is a temple located in Chiplima which is 30 km from Sambalpur city via NH 6 in Odisha, India as of now. A bridge is constructed (called Chaurpur bridge) at Mundoghat a strategically important place between Sambalpur and Chiplima. As of December 2018, it is fully functional. It has halved the distance between Maa Ghanteswari Temple and Sambalpur. As the name suggests there are bells everywhere.[1] People offer bells to the goddess Ghanteswari or the Deity of Bells, after fulfillment of their wishes. Many pilgrims from across the state visit the temple. It is known as the 'lighthouse without light', built by the early sailors, for whom the bells served as warning against heavy winds. The special significance of this place lies in the great number of small bells hanging all around.

Gudguda waterfall is situated Sambalpur district, of the western part of Odisha, India. It is a cascade waterfall which flows from gudguda mountain. This place is fully covered with dense forest, types of Orchards, chirping sounds of birds, gushing sound of waterfall etc.

Nalichuan waterfall has placed 10 km from Bhatli and 28 km from Bargarh Town. The place is located in the Debrigarh wildlife sanctuary. The height of this waterfall is around 200 feet. The Nalichuan waterfall is surrounded by beautiful hills and dense forest. There is a Girigobardhan temple located near the waterfall.

One of the hidden gems of Bargarh district..one of the best waterfall visited so far.. breathtaking views..must visit place..the road to this place is also superb..u won't believe such a place can be existing unless u visit this place.. seeing is believing
