A Rajasthani sweet, Ghevar is traditionally savoured during Teej and Rakshabandhan festivals, but can be pretty much eaten any time one wants to…that’s the best thing about food.
It is a honeycomb shaped fried delicacy drenched in sugar syrup and topped with sliced nuts and flavoured Rabdi .The trick of making it lies in the process of frying it.
Ghevar is known for its rich flavor and web-like forms. There are many varieties of Ghevar such as plain, Mawa, Malia Ghevar.
