We would like to express our deep gratitude to the Managing Trustee, HHM Gajsingh Bapji Jodhpur Sahib of Marwar, Baijilalsa Hukum Shivranjani ji of Marwar, the entire team and staff members of the Mehrangarh Fort Museum Trust for organising such a valuable learning experience.

On 16th July 2025, the 3-day Guide Refresher Course, organised by the Trust, came to a close.

On Day 2, Dr. Surya Veer Singh Deora, Assistant Professor at MSG University, delivered a highly informative lecture on the of the Dewals of Marwar. Mr. Shailesh Mathur, Executive Engineer at the Mehrangarh Museum Trust, spoke about conservation projects at Mehrangarh Fort.

The third day featured an orientation tour of Mehrangarh Fort, led by Mr. Durga Singh Mandawa, focusing on guiding techniques. Additionally, Dr. Sirya Veer Singh Deora gave a lecture on the features of Mehrangarh Fort, while Guide Dr-Shakti Singh discussed its historical aspects. Dr. Sunayana Rathore presented insights on the upcoming projects of the Mehrangarh Museum Trust. Dr Mahendra Singh Tanwar r spoke about the changes that have taken place at Mehrangarh Fort over time. Mr. Sunil Langate informed the participants about the various methods and initiatives undertaken by the Conservation Laboratory.

The day concluded with a vote of thanks to all the guest speakers, followed by a group photo session.

The three-day Guide Refresher Course, organized by the Mehrangarh Fort, commenced today, 14th July, at the historic Chokelao Mahal. The course runs from 14th to 16th July and aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of local guides.

The inaugural session was opened by Col. Ajai Singh, Administrator of Mehrangarh Museum Trust, who spoke on the topic "Expectations from the Guides", setting the tone for the days to follow.

The day continued with an insightful lecture on "Traditions and Customs of Rajasthan and Mehrangarh Fort" delivered by Mr. Durga Singh Mandawa, a veteran in the tourism industry. Known for his immense knowledge and experience, Mr. Mandawa is a highly respected figure in heritage tourism and a frequent guest faculty for guide training programs conducted by renowned tour operators and institutions like the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM).
