Exceptional Driver — Highly Recommended!
Shankar was an absolutely amazing person to have as our driver during our trip to Rajasthan. He drove us from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer and then back from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur—a five-hour drive each way—and we could not have asked for a better experience.
The car was spotless and comfortable, and Shankar always had water available for us. He was extremely well-presented, impeccably dressed, professional, and incredibly courteous. He also knew exactly where to stop along the way for clean restrooms, food, and anything else we needed.
Most importantly, we always felt incredibly safe with Shankar. Having him drive us honestly felt like having our own personal driver and bodyguard. He was attentive, careful, and always looking out for us.
What really stood out, though, was how genuinely kind and thoughtful he was. He went above and beyond for us throughout our journey. When we returned from our safari in Jaisalmer, Shankar actually waited for us for about an hour while we had lunch and freshened up before beginning the long drive back to Jodhpur. He never made us feel rushed and was simply happy to accommodate us.
Shankar is also an incredible value. Compared with what you would pay for this level of private driving service in the United States, the cost is honestly mind-blowing—easily a fraction of what you’d expect to pay.
Beyond being a fantastic driver, Shankar is just a really, really sweet man who genuinely cares about his passengers. If you need a driver anywhere around the Jodhpur area, I highly, highly recommend Shankar. He is absolutely the guy to go with.
