According to Pakistan Point (a Pakistani news site), in May 2019, a Pakistani cleaner employed inside Masjid al‑Haram was recognized as the “most diligent cleaner of the month.” When offered a cash reward, he declined and instead requested permission to pray in the Hijr Ismail (Hateem)—a semi‑circular area inside the Kaaba’s enclosure. His request was granted, and the area was closed off for him to pray alone. May Allah protect us from spreading false news. Ameen.
