Reshi Khola originates in Raset Compartment of Neora Valley National Park and is named after Raset Forest Village. It is more famous for the section that adjoins Pedong and this river flows towards north and merges with Teesta on border at Rongpo and touches Rhenock in Sikkim. The river and picnic Point is overseen from the Cafe Himalayan HotPot and Silent Valley Hawaghar in The Himalayan Retreat.

"Kolakham Winter Tourism Festival" is hosted in December as tourists visit the village to experience the beauty of the village and its culture. The festivities involve a colorful procession with locals dressed in traditional costumes, traditional folk music & dance performances and activities such as traditional sports. Traditional food and local dishes, stalls selling local crafts, jewelry and other items and traditional storytelling, puppet shows and art exhibitions are integral part of the festival.
