A tourist from Mathabhanga, Coochbehar had lost his bag containing cash amounting to Rs. 30,000/ and other valuables yesterday in and around *I Love Lava* view point while he had been to Lava with his family.

During enquiry it was found that the missing bag was kept in safe custody by one Sangeeta Bantawa Rai who runs a roadside tea stall at Lava.

All the items including cash were found safe inside the bag.

Kalimpong District Police appreciates the honest gesture of Ms Sangeeta.

It is because of citizens like her that heightens the tourist experience of Kalimpong.

If you are visiting Lava do not forget to stop by Ms Sangeeta’s shop for a cup of tea.
