Aug–Sep 2022. My bestie's bachelorette trip to Sikkim! 💍🏔️

We rented a two-wheeler in Gangtok and hit the road to Pelling, soaking in the stunning views of Temi Tea Garden (2) and foggy stops like Putali Bhir (3). In Pelling, we visited the serene Pemayangtse Monastery (7), marveled at the massive sky-high statue (6), and walked on the breathtaking glass skywalk bridge (6).

After exploring Pelling, we rode the same two-wheeler back to Gangtok! Cruising the misty curves of SH-22 with the wind in our hair was absolutely magical. 🌬️🛵

And when we hit that milestone… Legship or friendship? Our friendship is mileage-free! 🤝🛣️

We wrapped up our trip with a private taxi from Gangtok to Bagdogra Airport, saying goodbye to those lush green forests.

And that’s a wrap on our Sikkim adventure! From shared taxis to bike rides, foggy hills to turquoise lakes, this trip gave us memories to last a lifetime. ✨

Aug–Sep 2022. My bestie's bachelorette trip to Sikkim! 🏔️💍

We started the adventure with shared taxis—squeezing in with locals to reach the breathtaking Gurudongmar Lake at 17,100 ft (P11-14) and the roaring Bhim Nala Waterfall (P15-16).

Back in Gangtok, we rented bikes (P18-19) to cruise the lush green roads, devoured noodles at The Dragon Wok (P2), and wandered MG Marg with midnight ice cream in the rain (P1-P4, P20).

Aug-Sep 2022. We packed our bags and headed to the mountains for my bestie's bachelorette trip to Sikkim! 🏔️💍

From the airport chaos to winding hill roads, we experienced it all. The journey started off in a private taxi, but we quickly switched to sharing taxis along the way—because nothing says "authentic mountain adventure" like squeezing in with locals! 🚗😂

We crossed the high-altitude Nathu La Pass at 14,140 feet, visited the serene Baba Harbhajan Singh shrine, and had the most magical time by Tsomgo Lake dressed in beautiful traditional outfits. 🕯️💙

And yes, there's a yak in the pictures—but just for the photos, no actual ride! 😉 He was the fluffiest photo prop ever. 🐂📸
