Altitude: ~3,300 meters
Key attraction: Neelkanth Peak backdrop, Tapt Kund (hot spring)

Lost in the misty charm of Mussoorie 🌲✨

Basic Itinerary for Mussoorie (3 Days)

Day 1: Arrival and Local Sightseeing

Morning: Arrive in Mussoorie. Could you check in to your hotel and freshen up?
Kempty Falls: Visit the famous Kempty Falls. You can enjoy a dip in the pool and have a snack at the nearby food stalls.
Gun Hill Point: Take the ropeway to Gun Hill, the second-highest peak in Mussoorie, offering panoramic views of the Himalayas and the town.
Mall Road: Spend your evening strolling along Mall Road, enjoying the vibrant market, and trying local food.

Day 2: Nature Trails and Adventure

Lal Tibba: Start your day early with a visit to Lal Tibba, the highest point in Mussoorie, known for stunning sunrise views.
Camel’s Back Road: Walk along this scenic 3 km stretch offering views of the Doon Valley and the Himalayas.
Company Garden: Visit this beautifully maintained garden with fountains, a mini lake, and flower beds.
Adventure Activities: If you're up for it, you can enjoy zip-lining, rock climbing, or paragliding (check availability).

Day 3: Nearby Excursions and Departure

Cloud’s End: Drive to Cloud’s End, a serene spot with dense forests and breathtaking views. It’s perfect for nature lovers and those who enjoy peaceful walks.
George Everest’s House: Explore the historic home of Sir George Everest, offering scenic vistas and a bit of history.
Mussoorie Lake: On your way back, visit Mussoorie Lake, where you can do some boating.

Tips:
Best Time to Visit: April to June for pleasant weather or October to February if you prefer cold and possibly snow.
Travel Essentials: Carry comfortable walking shoes, warm clothes (especially if visiting in winter), and sunscreen.
Accommodation: Options range from budget hotels to luxury resorts; book in advance during peak seasons.

📍Dudhsagar Waterfall

Dudhsagar is a paradise for adventurous travelers. It
will be a big loss if you don’t see the sight of the
waterfall at least once. Dutsagar is not just a
beautiful waterfall, but when trekking and jeep ride
to it, the thrill of the journey is complete. Dutsagar waterfall is in Mandavi river. This waterfall,
which falls from 1017 feet down, is one of the tallest
waterfalls in India. Even though Doot Sagar reaches
its full beauty during the rainy season, people are not
allowed to enter here at this time considering the Madgaon Belgaum railway passing by this waterfall.
So if you travel through this route, you can see the beautiful view of Doot Sagar waterfall. The waterfall is located near the Idathurna forest. This just makes the scenery even more beautiful. The view of a train passing near the overflowing Doot Sagar during the monsoon season is very beautiful. Many photographers and tourists come to Doot Sagar during the monsoon season to capture this scene.
