Celebrating 11 Years of Kisan Samman!

From PM-KISAN to PM Fasal Bima Yojana, every initiative has empowered our farmers to thrive. Let’s salute their strength and the transformative journey of India’s agriculture.

On this sacred occasion of Eid al-Adha, we extend our heartfelt wishes of peace, prosperity, and togetherness to all.

As we celebrate this festival of faith and compassion, we also honour the rich heritage of India’s Islamic architecture — like the historic Mishkal Mosque in Kozhikode, Kerala. Built in the 14th century, this centuries-old wooden marvel reflects the unique cultural harmony and craftsmanship of Malabar.

May this Eid inspire unity, generosity, and deeper cultural understanding.

Eid Mubarak!

🌱 World Environment Day 2025 🌍

On this special day dedicated to our planet, India Tourism Kochi Office organized an inspiring awareness program at Miyawaki Nature Lab, Trivandrum.

The event focused on educating young minds about the Miyawaki afforestation method, a revolutionary approach to creating dense, fast-growing native forests even in small urban spaces.

Students from the Yuva Tourism Club of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Trivandrum actively participated in the session, gaining hands-on knowledge about how trees play a vital role in building a sustainable and climate-resilient future. Through interactive learning and nature-based insights, they discovered how every small action can lead to big environmental impact.

This Environment Day, we planted the seeds of awareness, responsibility, and hope — nurturing a new generation of eco-conscious citizens. 💚

Let’s grow together, for a greener tomorrow!

Happy Vishu!
Wishing joy, prosperity & new beginnings.
Golden blooms of Kanikonna lighting up the season

Kanikonna (Cassia fistula) — the golden shower flower, is the official flower of Kerala and a symbol of prosperity. Its bright yellow blooms mark the arrival of Vishu, bringing hope and new beginnings.
No Vishu Kani is complete without Kanikonna!

May this Eid bring joy, love, and endless blessings to your life. Eid Mubarak!

Cheraman Juma Masjid in Kodungallur, Kerala, is India’s oldest mosque, established in 629 CE by Malik Bin Dinar. Built during the Chera dynasty, its legend tells of a Chera king who, after witnessing a celestial event, traveled to Mecca, embraced Islam, and directed his followers to spread the faith in his homeland. Following his wish, Malik Bin Dinar built the mosque, marking the beginning of Islam in India.
