Sadya at Thanal A venture into hospitality A retired professor ( that is me Leela Manjooran ) with a passion for people and cooking ventured into hospitality five years ago.

A tip- off from a friend was the spark Sadya stands for a traditional Kerala banquet. At Thanal we serve exactly that, a wholesome meal cooked and served with love by the members of the family. Meal time is also laced with interesting conversation and discussion about our land, people,culture etc. Soon Sadya at Thanal became a pleasant and enjoyable experience for us and the guests. Some of them a

sked for more--cooking lessons. Soon we branched into cooking holidays for the guests. A few asked for still more. A visit to the local market to shop for typical Kerala products like spices. We happily obliged. Our guests at Thanal are treated as our personal guests. Meeting people from across the world has been a tremendous experience for all of us. Many still stay in touch.

She takes cooking classes back in her homeland. Took down notes to make Appam and chicken stew. Kerala Appam in Japanese cooking class !!!!
