PUTHUVYPE BEACH One of the best beach in Vypin Island The beautiful beach of Puthuvype is one of the best hangout location in Kochi. It is one of the tallest in India.

The walkway at the beach offers a great experience to the visitors. The beach is more wide and sandy compared to Fort Kochi beach. Also there is a green lawn which offers ideal facility to play games of every kind. There is also a lighthouse situated less than half a kilometer away from the beach. The Puthuvype beach is much nearer to the city of Kochi from where visitors can see ships passing at a distance and also the Fort Kochi beachfront. Puthuvype beach is also the location of beach motocross race which is conducted every year during the “Puthuvype Beach Tourism Mela”.The Tourism Mela, which lasts for 10 days concludes on January 1st , attracting thousands of people. The “Puthuvype Beach Tourism Mela” is a complete family entertainer which includes horse riding, adventurous rides, circus, games, children’s rides, exhibitions, different kinds of eateries and much more. To reach Puthuvype beach, buses are available from Ernakulam High Court Junction via Goshree bridges directly to Puthuvype. Nearest railway stations are Ernakulam North and Eranakulam South. From both stations,autos and buses are available to Ernakulam High Court Junction and from there to Puthuvype.

കൂറ്റന്‍ തിമിംഗലത്തിന്റെ ജഡം തീരത്തടിഞ്ഞു. എടവനക്കാട് പഴങ്ങാട് കടപ്പുറത്താണ് തിമിംഗലം തിരകള്‍ക്കൊപ്പം കരയിലെത്തിയത്. ആഴക്കടലില്‍ മാത്രം കാണപ്പെടുന്ന തിമിംഗലം തീരത്തടിയുന്നത് അസാധാരണമാണെന്നു മല്‍സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികള്‍ പറയുന്നു.
