ആനക്കുളം - മാങ്കുളം : വനത്തിനുള്ളിലെ പറുദീസ

അടിമാലി മുന്നാർ റൂട്ടില കല്ലാറിൽ നിന്നു തിരിഞ്ഞു ഏകദേശം 15_20കി.മി സഞ്ചരിചാൽ..മാങ്കുളമായി,അവിടെ നിന്നു 7-10 കി.മി സഞ്ചരിചാൽ പ്രകൃതി രമണീയമായ ആനക്കുളത്തു എത്താം,സഹ്യന്റെ മടിത്തട്ടിൽ വിരാജിക്കുന്ന കൊച്ചു ഗ്രാമം..ആനകുളത്തെ കുറിചു ഞഅൻ കേൾക്കുന്നതു ആനകൾ ഓരു വെള്ളം കുടിയക്കാൻ വരുന്നതിന്റെ കഥകളാണു,അതു കാണാമെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷ ഒട്ടുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല..

വെള്ളചാട്ടങ്ങളും ശാന്തമായി ഒഴുകുന്ന പുഴയും..കോടമഞ്ഞും..മഞ്ഞു പെയ്യുന്ന പോലെയുള്ള മഴയും ആകെ കൂടെ വല്ലാതെ കൊതിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അന്തരീക്ഷമായിരുന്നു..കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഡ്രൈവർ ആ നാട്ടുകാരനായതു കൊണ്ടു..ചെറിയ ഒരു ജീപ്പ്‌ ട്രക്കിംഗ്‌ തരപ്പെടുത്തി തന്നു...കാടിനകത്തു ആദിവാസി കുടികളുണ്ടെന്നും.ഏതു നേരത്തു ആനയിറങ്ങാമെന്ന സംസാരവും കൂട്ടുകാരനിൽ ആശങ്കയുണർത്തിയെങ്കിലും..മൗഗ്ലി എന്നു ഓമന പേരുള്ള എന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ രണ്ടു മൂന്നു ലഡു ഒരുമിചു പൊട്ടി,പൊട്ടിയതു മാത്രം മിച്ചം.."ആനയും വന്നില്ല ഒരു ജ്യോതിയും വന്നില്ല" :)..കാട്ടിൽ നിരാശകളില്ല..പരിഭവങ്ങളും,കൊച്ചു,കൊച്ചു പിണക്കങ്ങളും മാത്രം..വീണ്ടും കാണാമെന്ന ശുഭാപ്തി വിശ്വാസത്തോടെ..കാടെന്ന മാതാവിനോടു വിട ചൊല്ലി..തിരികെ മാങ്കുളം വന്നു അവിടെ താമസിചു നേരെ അടിമാലി പോവാതെ കാന്തല്ലൂർക്കു യാത്ര തിരിച്ചു..ഒരു ഫോട്ടോ ട്രിപ്പ്‌ മാത്രമായിരുന്നു...പിന്നീടു ചെന്നു കാണാനുള്ള തയ്യാറെടുപ്പും...
