Munnar – The Jewel of Kerala
Munnar is one of the most beautiful and popular hill stations in Kerala, India. मुन्नार – केरल का अनमोल रत्न
मुन्नार भारत के केरल राज्य का एक अत्यंत सुंदर और प्रसिद्ध हिल स्टेशन है। पश्चिमी घाट की पर्वतमालाओं में लगभग 1,600 मीटर (5,200 फीट) की ऊँचाई पर स्थित मुन्नार अपनी मनमोहक प्राकृतिक सुंदरता, हरे-भरे चाय बागानों, धुंध से ढकी पहाड़ियों और साल भर रहने वाले सुहावने मौसम के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। "मुन्नार" नाम का अर्थ है "तीन नदियाँ", क्योंकि यह स्थान मुदिरापुझा, नल्लाथन्नी और कुंडला नदियों के संगम पर स्थित है।

मुन्नार का एक और प्रमुख आकर्षण Anamudi Peak है, जो दक्षिण भारत की सबसे ऊँची चोटी है और लगभग 2,695 मीटर (8,842 फीट) की ऊँचाई पर स्थित है। यह स्थान ट्रेकिंग और साहसिक गतिविधियों के शौकीनों के बीच काफी लोकप्रिय है।
मुन्नार झीलों, बाँधों, झरनों और दर्शनीय स्थलों से भी समृद्ध है। Mattupetty Dam अपनी शांत जलराशि और नौकायन गतिविधियों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। इसके निकट स्थित Echo Point अपनी प्राकृतिक प्रतिध्वनि (इको) के लिए जाना जाता है। वहीं, Top Station पश्चिमी घाट और तमिलनाडु के मनोरम दृश्यों का अद्भुत अनुभव प्रदान करता है। इसके अलावा, Attukad Waterfalls और Lakkam Waterfalls जैसे सुंदर झरने इस क्षेत्र की प्राकृतिक शोभा को और बढ़ाते हैं।
