The local market in Ernakulam is not to be missed if you want to get an authentic feeling of Kochi! Best time to visit is between 9AM and 11AM when all the merchants are getting ready for a new business day.

While on tour I had the pleasure of stopping for lunch with my tour guide Ide. Now at first i was thinking this wasn't what i had mind. I knew it was going to be local keralan food on the cheap but I didn't expect this haha! Mind you the food was so good I even decided to order more then was included with our meal! We had a veggie tamil, rice, wonderful spices and this tasty korma and fish curry we had to try. Don't let the outside fool you, the tour offered local Keralan food, and that's exactly what this place has to offer!
