Cap's fly kodaikanal is situated at a distance of 15kms from the kodaikanal bus stand. Please keep an eye on the children's to keep away from the vicinity of the ledge since the valley is pretty deep and give the best view between early mornings and late afternoons.

Just a couple of feet's off the trak is the Silent Valley Viewpoint (also known as Cap's Valley View). You can see the emerald valley below from here occasionally blanketed by the cotton bales of white fog, is above picture perfect. The panoramic view of this point assures that the sightseers expend a substantial amount of time watching the lovely beauty. Wear good footwear on this trip. It's very wet around Kodai and the mountain trails are quite slippery.

In 1906, Mr. Bryant planned to grow precious timber, hence he started the Kodaikanal pine plantations in the south-west of Kodaikanal. The Pine forest is an impressive spot to visit. The scenery at pine forest is one of the most excellent locations to spend time to experience the most peaceful and memorable moments of life. You would love to stand under the gigantic trees and feel small and protected by the nature mother.

Exploring the Kodaikanal pine forest on the way to Mannavanur, you can see the forest floor roofed by "magic mushrooms" - allegedly hallucinogenic - you would try to find out! These pine plantations are apparently pretty familiar with the young Israeli people at Vattakanal. These meticulous pine forests are eerie since the majority of the cones and needles had dried out and the pine needles - leafs - covered the forest floor and branches in a weird shade of grey white.
