Tell us how you travel → WhatsApp Somehow, it stopped being that way. When we started travelling and helping people travel, we noticed something. There were thousands of hotels to choose from. Hundreds of packages. Endless itineraries, reviews and recommendations.

The problem was never a lack of choices. The problem was that nobody was trying hard enough to understand the traveller behind the trip. That became the reason for Izifiso.

We started small, discovering places ourselves, meeting hosts, understanding routes and helping travellers experience destinations differently. Over time, something changed. We realised that planning the trip was only half our responsibility. A beautiful itinerary means very little if the stay disappoints you. A perfect destination means little if your driver doesn't arrive. And a booking confirmation means nothing when you're hundreds of kilometres from home and nobody answers your call. So Izifiso became about more than planning travel.

4 friends. One idea.

They wanted Meghalaya.
But not the usual Meghalaya.

Weekend-এ একটু পাহাড়, একটু সবুজ আর একটু offbeat escape চাই? Susunia-কে এবার list-এ রাখতেই পারো। 🌿

বর্ষায় Bankura-র এই পাহাড়টা যেন একেবারে অন্যরকম হয়ে ওঠে। বৃষ্টিতে ভেজা লাল মাটির রাস্তা, চারপাশের lush green, পাহাড়ের গায়ে মেঘ আর মাঝে মাঝে হালকা বৃষ্টি—চেনা Susunia-টাই তখন অনেক বেশি সুন্দর লাগে।

পাহাড়ের পথে হাঁটতে হাঁটতে ভেজা পাথরের গন্ধ, গাছের ফাঁক দিয়ে মেঘলা view আর নিচে ছড়িয়ে থাকা সবুজ গ্রাম—এখানে beauty-টা একটু raw, একটু real।

আর শুধু nature নয়, পাহাড়ের গায়েই রয়েছে Narasimha মন্দির আর পুরনো শিলালিপি—যা Susunia-র সঙ্গে জড়িয়ে থাকা ইতিহাসের গল্পটাও মনে করিয়ে দেয়।

সব মিলিয়ে, একটা ছোট্ট weekend trip-এ পাহাড়, বৃষ্টি, জঙ্গল, history আর Bankura-র সেই iconic লাল মাটির vibe—আর কী চাই?

কখনও কখনও একটা ভালো trip-এর জন্য নতুন destination নয়, একটা নতুন route-ই যথেষ্ট। 🌿

এই ৬ দিনের journey-তে Karnataka, Kerala আর Tamil Nadu—তিনটে State একসঙ্গে cover করা যায়।

Mysore-এর heritage থেকে Coorg-এর coffee estate, Bandipur-এর jungle road থেকে Wayanad-এর greenery, আর শেষে Ooty-র misty hills ও iconic Toy Train।

Safari Trip মানেই শুধু Wildlife নয়! 🐅🌿

একই trip-এ যদি জঙ্গল safari, rare tiger spotting, jungle stay আর India-র অন্যতম impressive waterfalls—সবকিছু পাওয়া যায়, তাহলে destination একটাই—Similipal.

একদিন জঙ্গলের পথে wildlife-এর thrill, আর পরের দিন Barehipani, Joranda, Uski, Sita Kund-এর মতো waterfalls-এর সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে প্রকৃতির অন্যরকম রূপ দেখা।

ছুটি কম মানেই ঘোরাঘুরি বন্ধ নয়। 🌿

Kolkata থেকে 100–200 km-এর মধ্যেই আছে এমন অনেক জায়গা, যেখানে দু’দিনের break-এই হয়ে যেতে পারে সুন্দর একটা getaway।
নদীর ধারে Burul, Taki বা Bagnan, জঙ্গলের মাঝে Jhargram, Mangalgunj বা Joypur—আর একটু বেশি সময় পেলে Ajodhya, Sonkupi, Mukutmanipur কিংবা Belpahari।

Long vacation না থাকলেও, weekend-টা একটু অন্যরকম করে কাটানোর option কিন্তু অনেক।

Burul-এর সবচেয়ে সুন্দর ব্যাপারটা হয়তো তার Ganga-র ধারে থাকা।
নদীর দিকে তাকিয়ে বসে থাকা, হালকা বাতাস, চারপাশের সবুজ আর শহরের চেনা শব্দগুলো থেকে একটু দূরে থাকা—এখানে শান্তিটা খুব simple, কিন্তু ঠিক সেই কারণেই এত ভালো লাগে।

বিশেষ করে, সারাদিনের কাজ, family, office আর হাজারটা দায়িত্বের মাঝখানে এমন একটা ছোট break-ও অনেকটা দরকার।
নিজের প্রিয়জনদের সঙ্গে গল্প, একসঙ্গে চা, নদীর ধারে বসে অনেকদিন পর মন খুলে কথা বলা—কোনও বড় plan ছাড়াই একটা দিন নিজের মতো করে কাটানো।

আর সবচেয়ে ভালো ব্যাপার?
এর জন্য long vacation বা complicated planning কিছুই লাগে না।
Kolkata থেকে মাত্র দু'ঘণ্টার পথ, অথচ Ganga-র ধারে বসলে মনে হবে শহরের ব্যস্ততা অনেকটাই পিছনে ফেলে এসেছো।

৪ দিনে Jharkhand-এর একদম perfect little escape! 🌿

Waterfall, পাহাড়, জঙ্গল আর sunset—সবকিছু একসঙ্গে।

Ranchi থেকে Dassam, Jonha, Hundru, Sita Falls, তারপর Netarhat-এর pine forest, Koel View Point আর Magnolia Sunset Point। শেষে Lodh Waterfall দিয়ে journey শেষ।

Maithon-এ বর্ষা মানেই শুধু বৃষ্টি নয়—পুরো জায়গাটাই যেন নতুন করে জেগে ওঠে। 🌿

পাহাড়ের গায়ে মেঘ, চারপাশে গাঢ় সবুজ আর সামনে বিশাল lake—রাস্তায় যেতে যেতেই বুঝতে পারবেন, এই সময় Maithon কেন আলাদা।

একদিকে lake-এর ধারে শান্ত সকাল, অন্যদিকে boat ride, আর মাঝখানে বৃষ্টিভেজা রাস্তা দিয়ে ছোট্ট একটা road trip। কোথাও কুয়াশা, কোথাও মেঘে ঢাকা পাহাড়, —চারপাশের এই বদলে যাওয়া দৃশ্যটাই Maithon-কে করে তোলে আরও special।
