The famous Kali temple in Delhi is located in Chittaranjan Park area. This is the place where most of the important bengali ritual and worshippings takes place throughout the months of the year. Many visitors, from West Bengal, comes to this place to take a glimps of the nicely crafter Ma Kali, Lord Shiva, and Krishna temples. The Kali Mandir has been made out of nicely crafted terracotta tiles.The adjacent lawns are maintained by the Mandir committee, seasonal flowers are grown through winter, in the lawn premises. Yearly cultural program and competition are organized in the temple premises. The nearby guest house welcomed visitors with optimum standard of hospitality. A probable visitor needs to book accommodation in advance. The area is quite a nistaligic place, especially for the Bengali diaspora in the capital city. All kinds of bengali staple and refreshment stuff are available in the shops around this place. If you are visiting Delhi, or travelling to other north Indian or Himalayan states, for travel, and halting in Delhi for a few days, it would be worth to visit this very Bengali place to take an experience of the Bengali life and culture in Delhi.
