The biggest loss to Riding Fraternity
The Lady Of Harley paased away on 11th April 2016..
Veenu Paliwal, lady of Harley.
One of India’s renowned woman bikers, was en-route a national wide tour on her Harley Davidson bike when the accident took place. She was accompanied by her fellow biker, Deepesh Tanwer.
The nationwide tour was likely the International Chapter Ride initiated by Dunes Chapter Rajasthan and Harley Davidson. Paliwal was passionate about riding from her college days where she initially learnt her skills. Due to some reasons she had to put her passion on neutral and but couldn’t remain the same. After an unsuccessful marriage, the 44 year old shifted gears and rode back to her passion and rest is history. From riding puny bikes in college to Harley Davidsons to being named as the "Lady of Harley" in 2016 the woman had done it all. But little did anybody know that her journey of passion would be cut short by a tragic accident.
She was riding on the roads of Gyaraspur, a small district in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh when the mishap happened.
Reports says that the bike skid and she fall, even though she was wearing the safety gear she succumbed to her injuries. She was immediately rushed to a primary health centre and later shifted to Vidisha district hospital. The doctors couldn’t do much as she was declared dead on arrival at the district hospital.
When she was taken to the hospital to treat her injuries mainly on the hand, was administered an injection which reacted strongly with her system.
The news of Veenu Paliwal’s death was a shock to entire riding fraternity and the social media was soon flooded with words of tears and condolences.
The female biker community has lost their inspiration and source of motivation.
The renowned rider was a mother of two and was also known for her social work and activities. Paliwal was also planning to make a documentary of her Harley Davidson ride on completion of the tour.
Deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Veenu Paliwal.
