DARJEELING-GANGTOK TRIP 2019
DURATION: 5N 6D (NJP TO NJP)
DAY ONE: NJP TO GANGTAK
Meet and greet at New Jalpaiguri Junction
and then transfer to Gangtak. Check in upon
arrival. Explore the quaint hill town overlooking
the magnificent Himalayan range. After lunch you
may visit (Optional) MG Market. Dinner and Overnight
at GANGTAK.
DAY TWO: GANGTAK SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast enjoy Gangtak local sightseeing. Visit Rumtek Monastery,
Shanti View Point, Botanical Garden, Enchey Monastery,
Barthang Waterfalls, Ropeways, Research Institute of
Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten. Visit Dinner and Overnight
at GANGTAK.
DAY THREE: CHHANGU & NEW BABA MANDIR SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast excursion to Tsomgmo Lake popularly known as
Chhangu Lake and New Baba Mandir. Dinner and Overnight
at GANGTAK.
DAY FOUR: GANGTAK TO DARJEELING
After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling, the Queen of Hills. This four hour drive
overlooking the magnificent Himalayan Ranges with Tea
Gardens on both side of the road offers impressive view.
After arrival, transfer to the Hotel. You can spend the
rest of the day exploring the bazaars of this scenic
hill town where you can discover exclusive Tibetan
artifacts and excellent quality of tea leaves. Dinner and
overnight at DARJEELING.
DAY FIVE: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
Wake-up early in the morning
and reach Tiger Hill to enjoy the magnificent view of sunrise
on the Mt. Kanchanzonga. Stop midway to visit the Batasia
Loop and Ghoom Monastery. Move back to the hotel and post
breakfast, start of the sightseeing tour covering the Darjeeling zoological Garden, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Happy Valley Tea Estate, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self Help
Refugee Center, Rock Garden etc. Dinner and Overnight at DARJEELING.
DAY SIX: DARJEELING TO NJP VIA MIRIK
After breakfast transfer
to New Jalpaiguri Junction. Enroute visit Mirik Lake which is
Natural lake surrounded by lofty hills and Pine trees.
DO'S
* Avoid littering and deposit garbage at designate places.
* Keep all pollutants away from streams and lakes.
* Respect local culture by taking permission before taking
photographs.
* It is customary to circles shrines in clock wise directions.
* Co-operates with Army Persons and Drivers.
DON'TS
* Don't disturb wildlife or its habitat.
* Don't smoke, drink alcohol or talk loudly near sacred places.
* Don't pluck plants or flower.
COST INCLUDES
* Accommodation at designated Home Stays.
* All foods viz. Bed Tea, Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks and
Dinner. Package will start from 1st day lunch to last day breakfast.
* Non-Ac vehicle for transfer & sightseeing. Please note that
vehicle will not be your disposal, but will be made available
as per itinerary only.
COST EXCLUDES
* Room heater charges. A room heater, if required, is available
upon extra payment, rates vary from @200-@400.
* Personal expenses such as Entry Fees, Tips and Boating.
* Additional sightseeing or usages of vehicles.
* Inner line permits charges for border area (per head @100)
and Pangolakha wildlife Sanctuary entry fees (per head @110)
* Always provide normal water.

Pick up from New Jalpaiguri and drop as well as Sightseeing as
per Schedule.
Car must share minimum Eight/Nine Heads.
CHILD POLICY
Bellow Three years totally free and after three years to five
years we take 50% of total package cost. After five years we
take full charge. Please carry the birth certificate as age proof.
PAYMENT & CANSELLATION TERMS
* 50% of the total package cost is to be paid to confirm a
booking. The Balance 50% is to be paid before 10 Days of journey.
* If an advance is received but unlikely the customer cancel the
tour then less than 5 days prior to the date if travel 100% of the package cost as cancellation charges, 5 day prior to the date of
travel 50% of the package cost as cancellation charges, 20 days
prior to the date of travel 20% of the package cost as cancellation charges.
TOUR RULES & REGULATIONS
1. In the event of natural calamities or unavoidable circumstances,
the company has discretionary powers to modify the route or cancel
the tour.
2. The company reserves the right to alter, amend, postpone or
cancel any of the tours advertised in the brochure, without
assigning any reason. In that case, money paid by the tour
participant will be refunded after deducting the actual costs,
but no compensation claim will be entertained
