An appeal to my sister of India.
Its time we stop being saraswati, lakshmi or devi durga it is time we evolbe as Maha Kali.
Lets come to roads and fight our rights. Right now if we look at a woman's life cycle it looks like this --> Attempt to kill in womb =death --> Faliure to kill in womb = Birth --> R**e her when when she is 2 or 3 = death --> Faliure to r**e = Life and education = Vaulnerability to be s*xually harasment -- by male member inside family or family friend, school teacher, Tution teacher, school staff, school bus driver and so on --> Some how manages to avoid all and complete school = college education = vaulnerabilty of -- r**e, r**e and murder, abduction r**e murder, r**e but survibed still killed for honour, harasment for wearing cloths of their choise, eve teasing, s*xual harasment in public transport, moral police victim if falls in love, honour killing if found loving a guy from another case or religion or against father's will= death--> If saved and complete studies and are looking for jobs = forced to marry, judged for being out going woman, insulted for coming home after 7pm --> if survibed all these and manages to get a job= low pay for being woman, deprived of opportunitues becausr women would be married and are also considered less intellegent, s*xual harasment at office, s*xual harasment by office cab driver or chances of being r**ed if she comes out from office late night, r**e and murder if her vehicles breaks down on the way home --> if manages to survibe and gets married = home violance for dowry, home violance for no reason, controling her life who to meet when to meen when to talk who to talk what to wear when to wear what to eat when to eat, force to leave job, force to give birth, forced to break contact with age old friends, forced to detect child's s*x and end in Featus Killing.
The whole life of a woman depends on mercy of men and controle of men in our society. INDIA IS FREE COUNTRY BUT INDIAN WOMEN ARE NOT. They are continiously deprived of basic human rights. We women need to start from scratch from raising male child right to protest home violance. Not only physical violence but also mental harasment has to be protested right from inside our homes. We women have to fight our freedom in this country lets join hands.
1st step Change the Bengali phrase (meyerai meyeder satru hoi) which means women are the enemy of women race. Support other women girls neighbor's girls, friends every body every time. Do judge them for their cloths, body type, for having boy friend or husband for not having a boy friend or husband, for having kids or not having kids at all, just stop all these nonsense.
2nd Step Stand by other women when they need help. If you see other women teased attacked or being abducted dont just stand a watch protest attack them in groups or use your intellegence to fight or stop the incident.
3rd Step. Do not agree to marry in exchange of dowry.
4th Step. Report any physical or mental harasment happened to you or your female friend or your female neighbor or female child. Dont be scared we woman have nothing to loose now our back is already on the wall before we are being vanished fight back. Trust me you dont need a man to live your life. You dont need a huband to provide you food. Fight for your rights. Give your education the highest pririoty in life. Financial freedom is a must dont consider working a choise it is mandatory and make yourself financially free but engaging in a job for your living. If you meet any uneducated woman who needs to be financially free educate her in some skill that she can use to get a job or do a small business. Empower each other.
5th Step. If you are a mother of male child dont keep him like the kohinoor diamond your daughter or some one else's daughter is equally valueable as your son is. Teach him compassion teach him to be human. Ask him to help you in kitchen, ask him to do his own laundry, teach him keep his room, waredrobe and bathrooms clean. Dont just teach him how to earn money in future teach him to be a good dependable human being 1st. Teach him to donate, teach him to help without expencting favours. Teach him to respect women, love women and treat women as human being.
6th Step. Invest on your girl child's education, creative skills, self defence lesson and fitness. Do not bring comparissions among your children for being male or female. Teach her to be good and independant husman being.
7th Step. Form women's club in your locality invite women to join. Discuss each other's problems regarding life, discuss about possible solutions. Help each other in building themselves financially and mentally. Teach each other survibal tips and tricka. Fight for each other.
Unity among women can only save Indian women and help in getting freedom their most desired freedom. Lets pledge and join hands for our own benifits.
