The sweet water and serene beauty of Madhupur attracts many nature lovers. The lush green hills give you a feel of calm and quiet and at the same time they are entertaining.
October to March is the right time to visit this beautiful place.
Right in the center of the market lies the famous sweet shop "Bardhaman Mishtanya Bhandar". Just beside Prabhudham is " Bengali Biharibabu's shop" where you will get the best "Jilipi" and "Kochuri".
From Madhupur, you can also visit the home town of the famous Bengali literary scientists, Professor Shanku, a creation of all our favourite Satyajit Ray, Giridi, and also Deoghar and Shimultola. You can hire a private car to travel to Giridi, and its distance is around 37KM. In Giridi, you will see the very famous Usri falls and Pareshnath mountain.
