🚆 I am writing this important post after such a major accident of Agartala to Sealdah bound Kanchenjunga Express, so please read this long post carefully, this information may be useful for you 🙏

🔰 We often have to buy tickets from our own account in IRCTC. Here many of us have a doubt that the insurance which is given at 35 paise while buying the ticket is availed only by clicking on the insurance option?
Let's understand this matter once in this particular situation

♻ If you take the insurance by clicking on the insurance option while buying the ticket from IRCTC account, then a mail will come to your email from the insurance company, your first task is to add the nominee by clicking on the link to update the nomination. Try to nominate someone who is not traveling with you. But updating this nomination is very important to get the insurance claim right.

✳ Clicking on Policy Wordings will ask you to login with your PNR and mobile number, by doing that you will get your detailed policy, give it to your family or your nominee before the journey.

💠 The policy covers the following accidents 👉

🔅 Death: 10 Lakh
🔅 Total permanent disability: Rs. 10 Lakhs
🔅 Partial permanent disability: Upto Rs. 7.5 Lakhs
🔅 Hospitalization Expenses: Upto Rs. 2 Lakhs
🔅 Transport of mortal remains: Rs. 10000

🌀 The claim must be intimated within 4 months of the train accident.
If a person is injured/disabled as a result of an accident, and as a result dies within the next 12 months, his family can make a death claim. Disability benefit will be adjusted against death claim.

🌀 In case of a train accident, if your belongings are stolen or robbed during your journey, you can get compensation through this insurance claim.

🌀 Besides, if there is a delay of 1-2 hours in reaching your destination in some premium trains like Tejas Express, you can get compensation through insurance claim.

🚆 আগরতলা থেকে শিয়ালদহগামী কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা এক্সপ্রেস এর এরকম একটা বড় দুর্ঘটনার পর এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পোস্টটি করছি, তাই দয়া করে এই দীর্ঘ পোস্টটি মন দিয়ে পড়ুন, এই Information আপনার কাজে লাগতে পারে 🙏

🔰 IRCTC তে আমাদের নিজস্ব account থেকে আমাদের প্রায়ই টিকিট কাটতে হয়। এখানে আমাদের অনেকের মনেই সংশয় থাকে যে, টিকিট কাটার সময় 35 পয়সা তে যে ইন্সুরেন্সটা দেওয়া হয় সেখানে শুধুমাত্র ইন্সুরেন্স অপশনে ক্লিক করলেই কি তার সুবিধে পাওয়া যায় ?
চলুন একবার এই বিষয়টি বুঝে নেওয়া যাক এই বিশেষ পরিস্থিতিতে 👉

♻ IRCTC account থেকে টিকিট কাটার সময় আপনি যদি ইন্সুরেন্স অপশনে ক্লিক করে ইন্সুরেন্সটা নেন, তাহলে আপনার ইমেইল এ একটা মেইল আসবে ইন্সুরেন্স কোম্পানির থেকে, সেখানে আপনার প্রথম কাজ হলো নমিনেশন আপডেট করার লিংকে ক্লিক করে নমিনি (Nominee) অ্যাড করা। চেষ্টা করবেন এমন কোনো ব্যক্তিকে নমিনি করতে যিনি আপনার সাথে ট্রাভেল করছেন না। সঠিকভাবে ইন্সুরেন্স ক্লেম পাওয়ার জন্য এই নমিনেশন আপডেট করাটা কিন্তু অত্যন্ত জরুরি।

✳ Policy Wordings এ ক্লিক করলেই আপনাকে আপনার PNR ও মোবাইল নম্বর দিয়ে login করতে বলবে, সেটা করলে আপনি আপনার ডিটেইল পলিসি পেয়ে যাবেন, যাত্রার আগে সেটা আপনার ফ্যামিলিকে বা আপনার নমিনিকে দিয়ে যাবেন।

💠 পলিসি তে নিম্নলিখিত দুর্ঘটনাগুলো কভার হয় 👉

🔅 Death: 10 Lakh

🌀 ট্রেন দুর্ঘটনা হবার 4 মাসের মধ্যে claim intimate করতে হবে।
দুর্ঘটনার ফলে যদি কোনো ব্যক্তি injured/disabled হন, এবং সেই কারণে নেক্সট 12 মাসের মধ্যে মারা যান, তাহলে তাঁর ফ্যামিলি death claim করতে পারবেন। Disability বাবদ দেওয়া টাকা death claim এর সাথে অ্যাডজাস্ট করে নেওয়া হবে।

🌀 ট্রেন দুর্ঘটনা ছড়ারাও, আপনার যাত্রাকালীন সময়ে যদি আপনার সামগ্রী চুরি বা ডাকাতি হয়, তাহলেও আপনি ক্ষতিপূরণ পেতে পারেন এই ইন্সুরেন্স ক্লেম এর মাধ্যমে।

🌀 এছাড়া তেজাস এক্সপ্রেস এর মতো কিছু প্রিমিয়াম ট্রেনে যাত্রাকালীন যদি আপনার গন্তব্যে পৌঁছতে 1-2 ঘণ্টা দেরি হয়, সেক্ষত্রেও আপনি ক্ষতিপূরণ পেতে পারেন ইন্সুরেন্স ক্লেম এর মাধ্যমে।

Excavation of one of the longest tunnels (T-7) of Sevak-Rangpo Rail Project, about 45 km long, has been completed.
Another 650 meter long access tunnel has to be dug during the excavation phase of about 3082 meter long tunnel.
Tunneling in the changing topography of the modern Himalayas was a difficult and risky task.
With the digging of this tunnel, 10 of the 14 tunnels of the project were completed.
About 38.64 km of the 45 km long railway is tunnel. Which is around 85 percent of the total railways. The tunnel has been excavated using the New Austrian Tunneling Method. Teesta Bazar, the only underground station of the project, falls within the range of this tunnel.
