On 29 Oct, 2024 Indiatourism Patna organised a "Swachhata Drive" at "Aami Temple", Saran, Bihar under promotions of "Special Campaign 4.0". This religious temple of Bihar has also selected for development under PRASHAD Scheme of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

This event was organised with Tourism Association of Bihar (TAB). In this Cleanliness Program the tourism stakeholders & members of Aami Temple Administration participated and contributed the
Shramdaan for "Swachhta Activities" on the importance of cleanliness of religious & tourists spots under promotions of Heritage & Sustainable.

Overall this cleanliness awareness program was organised very well by Indiatourism Patna Office with the message of clean India campaign among the people.

Ministry of Tourism, Bhubaneswar Office organized a Medicinal Plant, Plantation Drive in the banner of “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” with the students of the Yuva Tourism Club, members of Self-Help Groups, and other Tourism Stakeholders. This event was held at the scenic banks of the Nuanai River on 29.10.2024 on the occasion of Ayurveda Day 2024, honoring the ancient Indian science of holistic healing and wellness.
Objectives of the Event:
1. Promote Awareness: Educate the community, especially youth, on the importance of medicinal plants and their benefits in Ayurveda.
2. Encourage Community Participation: Engage diverse groups, including students and local women from Self-Help Groups, fostering a sense of responsibility towards environmental sustainability and health.
3. Support Biodiversity: Contribute to the conservation of native medicinal flora, enhancing the biodiversity of the region.
4. Advance Health and Wellness: Highlight the significance of Ayurveda and its potential role in preventive healthcare.
Key Activities:
The day commenced with a brief introductory session where officials from the Ministry of Tourism highlighted the significance of Ayurveda Day. They discussed the traditional medicinal properties of selected plants, such as neem, tulsi, and ashwagandha, and their role in promoting health. Volunteers from the Yuva Tourism Club and Self-Help Groups, along with local community members and other stakeholders, were then actively engaged in the plantation activity, planting saplings along the riverbank.

The event aimed to foster environmental stewardship while reinforcing the values of Ayurveda among the younger generation and local communities.
