What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than wandering through the timeless lanes of North Kolkata?

This weekend, we explored some of the most significant heritage sites in and around Bagbazar, tracing the footsteps of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda. Along the way, we also rediscovered several landmarks that have shaped modern Bengali culture and history.

We were delighted to welcome a few enthusiastic participants from Bardhaman who joined us on this journey through the heart of old Calcutta.

And while exploring North Kolkata's rich heritage, could we possibly ignore its legendary sweets and snacks? Of course not! No heritage walk in this part of the city is complete without indulging in a few quintessential Bengali delicacies.

Moments like these remind us why Kolkata is truly the City of Joy.

Thank you to everyone who walked with us and made the day so memorable. We look forward to exploring many more stories, streets, and hidden gems together.
