Basant Utsab (বসন্ত উৎসব) Organised by the Cultural and Dance Academy, 'PAYEL'

Following our cultural tradition of celebrating Holi, the cultural and dance academy, PAYEL, at Bally, Howrah has conducted a large colourful and decorated procession by their own students.

The mesmerizing view of the toddlers to senior students attracted the public and the procession continued in the locality. After the arrival of the dance students' procession, they performed a stage show and earned huge appreciation from the audience. Many dignitaries were present in the program and the grand success of the program by the principal of the institution Smt Anamika Sidhant.

EXCURSION AT BELUR MATH, Morning English Batch at Home

Apart from the daily Academic English learning program from class five to twelve, West Bengal Board, I give priority for psychological development of students. Following this, we visited Belur Math and explored the holy place last Saturday.

During this visit, Students have purchased many books on the life and teaching of Swami Vivekananda, Thakur Shri Ramakrishna Paramhans and holy mother Sarada Devi, hope this enducational trip will help them in future mental development

Everyone has enjoyed this one day trip delicious 'Khichuri' Prasadam...

NAYEEMA NADRATAN from Bangladesh, Four-day solo trip in KOLKATA

Nayeema Nadratan, HR of a real state company, located at Chitagong in Bangladesh, had been dreaming of visiting Kolkata when she was in school and learnt about the history of this city of joy.

BENIPUR BASUBARI DURGA PUJA

On the auspicious nabami tithi of the worship of Durga Maa, in West Bengal, We visited the Benipur Basubari at South 24 Parganas, in West Bengal with a big team from Kolkata.

We enjoyed and felt the two centuries (290 years) legacy of the Basu Family regarding the celebration of Durga Puja.

It was a great opportunity for us to be a part of this aristocratic Durga Puja in Benipur, organized by the Basu family.

The idea to create 'Kolkata Guides', page as a platform for foreign tourists had come to see an advertisement, 'Incredible India', promoted by the Government of India.

The creator of this page has been working as journalist cm content writer more than a decade. He felt that people of India should work to give a better experience to the foreigners and city visitors from other states.

He started to work from his home. He has a passion to write letters and to make pen-pals. He had been invited pen-pals from various corners of India. He has a passion to know different cultures, languages, lifestyle and food. He has arranged a room in his apartment and started to provide hospitality to guests.

However, his father, professor of a government-sponsored technical college in Kolkata had inspired him a lot to think in that way.
