Konaseema Konaseema is a delta located in the East Godavari and West Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh, Ind There are delicacies made using Plantain flowers.

కోనసీమ - Konaseema refers to the Godavari delta region in East Godavari district and West godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Actually 'kona' refers to corner and 'seema' refers to region. This delta is surrounded two sides with Godavari river on its bifurcation (Vashishta & Gautami) and Bay of Bengal on the third side. Soil in this region is extremely fertile supporting three crops of paddy and

other major crops are coconut, mango and cashew. Since Konaseema is known after its coconut production and hence goes the phrase Konaseema Kobbaraaku which signifies the prominence of Konaseema in coconut production. One of the most significant components of Konaseema culture is the food; a unique part of the cuisine. The inhabitants of Konaseema adopted a highly sustainable life-style. This could probably because of its geographic isolation from the mainland before the construction of critical bridge. Amalapuram is the largest town in this area
