*”Adventurous and Useful activities with Rupi Himalyan Adventure”*
16July,2024 Rovers and Rangers of Scouts and Guides of Snow Land Scouts and Guides Open Group,Kullu performed various adventure activities in a one day camp organised by *Rupi Himalyan Adventure* at Jhidi,Kullu.These activities involved: Rock climbing,Jumaring and river crossing.
9 Rovers and 14 Rangers along with *Beeju Himdal(Rover Scout Leader,Snow Land Scouts and Guides Open Group)* and Raj Singhania(Vice President,Team Sehbhagita) took part in this activity camp.
The activities were demonstrated and done by *Puran, Assistant Rover* Scout Leader and *Tej Singh, Senior Rover.*
As distt. Kullu being prone to natural calamities,knowledge of such skills prove to be favourable during emergencies. Rovers and Rangers learnt how to cross a river or water stream with heavy flow,how to climb through rocks to rescue someone from fall.
