While no two Willow programs are alike, we do have a few elements that we believe are integral to every experience.

Though learning is at the heart of all that we do, we also want it to be fun! We want to laugh and play and feel JOY while discovering new places and people.

At the same time, we put hours and days and months and years into curating these special experiences and want them to be thoughtful and sensitive not only for you, but also for the places we visit and the people who live there.

Sustainability is at the heart of slow, intentional travel like the kind we love. What is our impact? How can we respectfully interact with this different way of living?

We want you to actually be able to remember your trip - and while there will be many beautiful photos, there won’t just be a string of selfies you can’t remember why you took. We hope you’ll look at a photo and think, “I know exactly what I was feeling at the moment.”

We make sure all our programs are engaging, creative and hands-on so you can feel truly immersed wherever we take you. ✨

You might be wondering why these trips costs so much. We get it. Life is sometimes hard and when there are budget packages available you may be wondering why you’d invest. Let us try to convince you!

A trip with Willow is very far from a sightseeing tour. We carefully curate immersive learning experiences led by seasoned educators, enabling you to visit hidden places and meet inspirational people - changing your world view forever.
 
Everyone who makes these trips what they are is paid a fair, liveable wage. 

That means all the people you meet, whether they are guest speakers, guides, restaurant staff, teachers, artists, people who simply open up their homes and lives to us out of the kindness of their hearts, are being paid for their time and expertise.

For us, none of these experiences would be special without the insight of people who live and work there, and we value their time and recognise that we could not have these experiences without them.

Doing one trip with Willow will allow you to immerse yourself in a new place, gain radical new perspectives, experience cultures sustainably and leave you feeling like it was definitely money well spent. 🤍

If you swipe to the end, you’ll see that Uttara and Dani were actually instructor and student eight years ago and it’s so special to have this full circle moment where now we get to co-create this beautiful experience together and share it with you all. 🥹

We thought we’d further introduce ourselves through some of the, um, unique, things we simply cannot run programs or travel without.

This first photo gives you a pretty good idea of the two of us. Uttara looking lovingly at a poster she made (her markers are also in frame). Claire’s tea is not far away and if you ever see Claire without her hairbrush be sure to ask her if she is alright.
