The Ghata loop is an amazing driving road with stunning landscape , a real trail that make the momery afresh.
It is believed that long ago, a truck driver and his helper where met an accident while their jounry to Leh, and one of them took the last breath as no other car were passing along the road. They were in searched of water but could not maange, and died. Since that the spirit of that driver remained forever and keep asking for water. If offer water by the travelers or passenger the spirit remainhappy.
However, this superstitious dogma remain may cause a serious effect on the environment. Every year there seen a thousand of water and cold drinks bottles. This belleive and supertitous practice may turn the heaven like place to a garbges dump.
The spirit may get angry if the environment and much pollted and it may treat you the other way.
On this day lets acknowledge to the travelers and riders to keep the area clean and collect the bottle with you as much as possible. So that that heaven will remain heaven.
