Key spots to cover
*Leh*: The main base. Check out Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and the local market for apricots and pashmina.
*Pangong Lake*: The blue saltwater lake you asked about earlier. Most 3-4 day itineraries include an overnight camp here.
*Nubra Valley*: Sand dunes at Hunder, double-humped Bactrian camels, and the Diskit Monastery. You cross Khardung La pass to get there — one of the world’s highest motorable passes at 5,359 m.
*Tso Moriri*: Quieter than Pangong, deeper blue, with fewer tourists.
*Magnetic Hill & Sangam*: Where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet.
Best time*
*May to September*: Roads from Srinagar and Manali are open, weather is 15-25°C in the day. This is peak season.
Leh by road is both side from Srinagar and Manali and takes 2 days to reach Leh...
*Flights*: Regular direct Leh flights from Delhi are also.....
