The Sham Valley Trek,
famously known as the "Baby Trek" of Ladakh, is a 3–5 day, low-altitude ( 3,900–4,000m) cultural trek in lower Ladakh suitable for beginners, families, and winter trekking. It passes through quaint villages, apricot orchards, and Buddhist monasteries like Timisgam, Lamayuru, Rigzong, Alchi, Lgenerally regarded as a moderate, comfortable, and scenic hike.
