Srinagar to Manali via Zanskar Valley 06 N/07 D from 1st June 2025
Day 01: Srinagar to Kargil via Sonmarg, Zojila the gateway to Ladakh from Kashmir side. Zero point, snow biking at own cost. Later visit Drass War Memorial of 1999 war along the LOC. 6-7hours.
Night at Guest house/Hotel in Kargil.
Day 02: Kargil to Rangdum via Kartse Khar Maitreya Buddha rock carved status, later drive along Suru valley and you will have beautiful view of the famous peak in Zanskar region, The Nun and Kun. 6 hours. Night at Rangdum In Guest House.
Day 03: Rangdum to Padum via Penzi la Pass, Once this pass remain close for 6-7 months from its own head administration. You can enjoy the beautiful view of Drang Drung Glacier from Penzi la. Twin lakes. Later passing by many small villages towards more deep Zanskar. Visit Zungkul monastery in narrow valley. Night at Guest House in Padum.
Day 04: Padum Local sightseeing, Visit the famous Zangla village with ruin kings palace on hill and Nunnary monastery with the Buddha Statue. Later drive back towards Padum on way visit Stongday Monastery which again a huge monastery over a big hill and after visit the largest monastery in Zanskar region the Karsha Monastery. Night at Guest House in Padum.
Day 05: Padum to Cha/ Purne via Bardan Monastery on beautiful small hill along the Tserap River, After you will see many other small villages. Later trek to Phuktal caved monastery and the trail is along the river and you will cross a wooden bridge at the end. After having glimpse of the monastery, visit the monastery and trek back to Purne. Night at Guest House/Tents in Purne.
Day 06: Purne to Gonbo Rangjon, After having a pleasant night stay at Purne, drive along the river by small villages, Shortly after driving for 2hours maximum you will reach Kargyak village and later to GonboRanjon, which is very good for astrophotography in the night. Night at fix camp.
Day 07: Ganbo Rangjon to manali via Shingku la pass, which is the only pass remain close most of the time due to huge snow. After you will pass by Zanskar Sumdo to Darcha and Keylong to Manali. Our driver will drop you at Manali. Tour ends.
