However its few areas are also situated in Bathinda and Muktsar district of Punjab. It is located on the border of Haryana and Punjab, and is just a few minutes travel from Rajasthan border. On your right hand side and way ahead is Punjab and if you take left first you will find New City Bus Stand and the same way will lead to you Rajasthan. As of 2001[update] India census[1], Mandi Dabwali had a population of 53,812. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Mandi Dabwali has an average literacy rate of 65%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 70%, and female literacy is 59%. In Mandi Dabwali, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
