World heritage site - Kalka Shimla Railway.

The world heritage status to KSR was awarded on 10th
July 2008 by Unesco.

The Kalka-Shimla railway is a 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow-gauge railway in North India which traverses a mostly-mountainous route from Kalka to Shimla. It is known for dramatic views of the hills and surrounding villages. The railway was built under the direction of Herbert Septimus Harington between 1898 and 1903 to connect Shimla, the summer capital of India during the British Rule, with the rest of the Indian rail system

Spiti (pronounced as Piti in Bhoti language) is a high-altitude region of the Himalayas, located in the north-eastern part of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

The name "Spiti" means "The middle land", i.e. the land between Tibet and India. Spiti incorporates mainly the valley of the Spiti River, and the valleys of several rivers that feed into the Spiti River.

Some of the prominent side-valleys in Spiti are the Pin valley and the Lingti valley. Spiti is bordered on the east by Tibet, on the north by Ladakh, on the west and southwest by Lahaul, on the south by Kullu, and on the southeast by Kinnaur. Spiti has a cold desert environment.

The valley and its surrounding regions are among the least populated regions of India. The Bhoti-speaking local population follows Tibetan Buddhism.

भैरव मंदिर । Bhairav Temple Uttrakhand

गढ़वाल हिमालय में पवित्र केदारनाथ मंदिर के निकट स्थित भैरव मंदिर, महत्वपूर्ण आध्यात्मिक और सांस्कृतिक महत्व रखता है। भगवान शिव के उग्र स्वरूप भगवान भैरव को समर्पित, यह प्राचीन मंदिर केदारनाथ आने वाले भक्तों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण तीर्थ स्थल है।

भैरव मंदिर की यात्रा में केदारनाथ से एक छोटी यात्रा शामिल है, जो तीर्थयात्रियों को आश्चर्यजनक पहाड़ी इलाकों के बीच एक अतिरिक्त आध्यात्मिक अनुभव प्रदान करती है। जैसे ही आगंतुक मंदिर में चढ़ते हैं, उन्हें न केवल दैवीय आशीर्वाद मिलता है, बल्कि आसपास की चोटियों का मनोरम दृश्य भी मिलता है।

कैसे करें ये यात्रा

गौरीकुंड तक सड़क यात्रा:
हरिद्वार या ऋषिकेश से, केदारनाथ तीर्थयात्रा के आधार गौरीकुंड तक सड़क मार्ग से आगे बढ़ें। गौरीकुंड अंतिम मोटर योग्य बिंदु है, और यहां से यात्रा पैदल या टट्टू द्वारा जारी रहती है।

केदारनाथ की यात्रा:
गौरीकुंड से केदारनाथ तक लगभग 16 किलोमीटर की पैदल यात्रा शुरू करें । ट्रेक आपको सुरम्य परिदृश्यों से होकर ले जाता है और इसमें क्रमिक चढ़ाई शामिल है।

भैरव मंदिर तक आगे की यात्रा:
एक बार केदारनाथ पहुंचने के बाद, आप मंदिर की ओर बढ़ सकते हैं, जो मुख्य केदारनाथ मंदिर से एक छोटी सी पैदल दूरी पर है। मंदिर तक का रास्ता अपेक्षाकृत छोटा है, जिससे आसपास के पहाड़ों का मनमोहक दृश्य दिखाई देता है।

Jawala Ji or Jwala devi temple is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of India and Jawala Ji Temple is one of the highly venerated Shakti Temples in India. It is situated in the lap of Shivalik range of Kangra valley called “Kalidhar”.

This is believed to be the first ever temple built by the Pandavas. Jwala Ji is a Devi Temple Dedicated to the “GODDESS OF LIGHT”, located in Jawala Mukhi, district Kangra of Himachal Pradesh.

Sati’s tongue is believed to have fallen at the very place where Jwala devi Temple is now situated. The Tongue of sati is represented by Holy Flames or Jwala that is perpetually burning. Jwala devi temple as a center of faith is unparallel and unique.

There is no deity or idol that is worshiped. It has the series of natural flames or Jyotis since times immemorial believed to be the symbol of Goddess.

Jawala Ji is a great heritage centre for not only the people of Jawala Mukhi, Kangra or Himachal Pradesh but of the whole world. During March to April and September to October every year colourful fairs are held during the Navaratra celebration.

Shri Mahamrityunjay Temple , Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The only temple in the world dedicated to God Shiva's another form of Mahamrityunjaya.

The name comes from the Sanskrit, maha, meaning “great,” mrityu, meaning “death,” and jaya, meaning “victory.” As such, it may be translates as the “great death-conquering".

Shrikhand Mahadev - Among one of the Five Kailash where Bhagwan Shiva resides.

This holy destination is in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh.
It’s considered among one of the toughest treks in India. The 75 feet tall Shivalingam at the top of the Mountain is at the height of 17150 feet.

Pisa's tower is only 5 degrees tilted.. And she is the World Heritage Monument..... And near Manikarnika Ghat, Varanasi, this Ratneshwar Mahadev temple is 9 degrees tilted.. But there is no mention of it as a tourist destination...!!

The tower of Pisa is 54 meters high, while this temple is 74 meters high.. Let us make this temple world famous...!!

The Ratneshwar temple was constructed by the Kachwaha rulers of Amer. Most historians believe this temple to be built by Amir Naresh Maharaja Mansingh Pratham
