The year was 2008. Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada had just visited India to forge trade relations between the world’s two large democracies and wished to align immigration policy more closely with current labor market shortages. This moment served as the backdrop to the founding of Kangarooz, a pioneering company in the field of overseas education and now in 2019 we are recognized as the MOST TRUSTED IMMIGRATION BRAND IN PUNJAB 2019 by BRANDS IMPACT INDIA.
Kangarooz Overseas Education and Immigration Consultancies, one of the pioneers in providing assistance to students who pursue their education abroad, has quite a fascinating story behind its inception. The year was 2008. Stephen Harper, President of the Canada had just visited India to forge trade relations between the world’s two largest democracies. This moment served as the backdrop to the founding of Kangarooz. India had always supplied the western world with the best resources, ranging from spices to gold. Well educated, highly skilled workers can do more than ever before and, in the Information Age, the new currency is human capital. The realization of this demand is what lead to the creation of Kangarooz. Kangarooz helps all those who aspire to an education abroad to realize their dreams.
A gap analysis, conducted by the promoters of the company revealed that there were many aspirants hopeful of pursuing their education abroad, but very few immigration consultants to guide them through the application process. Most students were also unaware of their options for universities and ended up applying to institutions that weren’t as renowned as the academic qualifications of the students. Students would often have to waste their precious time in running from pillar to post to fulfill all the mandatory conditions for pursuing their education abroad like filling out application forms, writing personal essays and making sure they have their transcripts and references in order. Kangarooz was born out of a desire to fill this gap. It was conceived as a one-stop shop that would provide support to students through the services of immigration consultants, who would advice to them on universities and colleges to apply to, guiding them through the application process, coaching them for successfully completing the required gateway exams like IELTS, PTE, CELPIP and other English training courses.
