In response to a recent tragic incident at Mainapi Falls, where two lives were lost, authorities in Goa have banned entry to waterfalls and sanctuaries in forest areas. Dudhsagar waterfall, renowned for its breathtaking beauty during the rainy season, has been included in the closure, drawing attention from adventure seekers. Amid the ban, trekkers were caught attempting to access the falls and were confronted by Railway Police. As a form of punishment, they were made to do sit-ups, sparking a wave of controversy and debate on appropriate measures to ensure visitor safety.
