#4:Nov 1,2013: I was accompanied by one of my colleague who was leaving for Goa on a bike that evening for a friendly game. We started at about 11 and just finished 1 or 2 rounds when the power went off. And we started talking about his plans for journey. More we spoke about it, more I felt its what we should do on a holiday..not sitting at home and mashing button and staring at tv...so I joined in.

#3: the plan: I had an awesome plan to spend my diwali/thanksgiving holidays sit at home and finish up all the ps3 games for 5 consecutive days while eating all the junk I can coz I stay by myself so technically nobody's there to trouble me. But destiny had something else stored for me.

#2: what does celebration mean to you? To me it means nothinng but an excuse for good time, gathering with like minded fun loving people... and as I spent my life alone by myself, I value opportunities to experience new things, get and give companionship through good and bad times... I feel that builds up our bonds better than anything. For this atheist diwali doesn't have any religious significance but it has a great opportunity to connect.

#1: I planned to join my friends on this trip at the last moment. As soon as I decided that Im going to make this road trip I cleaned my bike, And gave it for quick service on nov 1. Mean time I finished packing my bags and by 3:30 evening I was ready to start this long journey of 550+ kms to Goa on the eve of diwali.
