Did you study for your Master's in Ireland? You might be missing out on tax refunds from Revenue!
Here is how international students can claim their money back, verified directly via Revenue.ie:
💰 20% Tax Relief: You can claim 20% tax relief on qualifying tuition fees, with eligible fees capped at €7,000 per year (meaning a maximum refund of €1,400 per year).
⚠️ The €3,000 Disregard: For full-time students, the first €3,000 is excluded. For example, on €12,000 paid over 2 years, relief applies to €9,000—giving you €1,800 total tax back!
📅 4-Year Window: Claims can be made for up to 4 previous tax years. If you completed your postgraduate degree recently, don't miss out!
📋 How to Claim: Log into myAccount on Revenue.ie, go to Tax Credits and Reliefs, select Tuition Fees, and submit your payment details. Always keep your official fee receipts handy.
