Day 6: Construction of the famous Alaska Railroad began in 1903, and since completion in 1923 it has linked Alaska's largest city, Anchorage, with Denali National Park and Fairbanks - Alaska's third largest city. We took the train from Denali to Anchorage .. As weather was good, we got a spectacular view of Mt.Denali stretching high into the clouds, lush fields full of fiddlehead ferns zoom past the train's windows, then taper off to give way to a narrow corridor of dense forest. We passed over Hurricane Gulch, crossing a bridge that spans 918 feet almost 300 feet above the Chulitna River. This train ride was indeed memorable @ Alaska Railroad Scenic Rail Tours

Day 5: Denali National Park and Preserve is located in the central area of the Alaska Range, a mountain chain extending 600 miles (970 km) across Alaska. Its best-known geologic feature is Denali.. Denali is home to a variety of North American birds and mammals, including grizzly bears , black bears, wolves, caribou and 1,477 moose. Dall sheep are often seen on mountainsides. Denali's landscape is a mix of forest at the lowest elevations, including deciduous taiga, with tundra at middle elevations, and glaciers, snow, and bare rock at the highest elevations. We were lucky to sight 4 out of 5 big five of this National Park @ Denali National Park and Preserve
