August, along with being the peak of the monsoon season, brings with it, the month of Shravana. Shravana, is the 5th and the most auspicious month of the Hindu calender, full of religious festivals and ceremonies.
Besides its religious significance,
Shravan is all about relishing seasonal farali food and preparing special delicacies throughout the month!
All the delicacies, from the top left:
⭐Paratha with Palak Paneer
⭐Farali Misal
⭐Puri with Dahi wale Aloo
⭐Sabudana Wada
When in Mumbai, you have got to visit Soam in Babulnath, South Bombay, to have a simple yet delicious home-style indian meal, that will leave you wanting more!
