Here’s Wishing the Father of Modernism a very Happy Birthday!
Walter Gropius was one of the early propagators of International Modernism along with and when the movement began in Europe more than a century ago.

He later founded the Bauhaus school in Weimar, Germany in 1919.
Its forced closure in 1933 by N**i authorities, led to the emigration of the to other parts of the world, particularly to America.
